Bathala Thila is a submerged pinnacle east of the resort island Bathala Island. The reef top is about 40 m long and begins at a depth of about 6–10 m. It is covered with anemones and soft and hard corals. Overhangs from 10 to 20 m deep surround the reef.

35 minutes northeast from Kandolhu we will find this steep slope reef which is ideal for a drift dive. We either drift along from east to west (incoming current) or from west to east (outgoing current). The reef offers some overhangs, caves and coral fields - what presents us varied marine life all along our dive.

A medium sized thila as its name says (medu = medium) on the east edge of the atoll. It presents some big overhangs where we can spend lots of time from our dive. On the east side there is an extra thila connected by a saddle from the main thila. They offer great marine life with all the common reef fish.

20 minutes east from Kandolhu, close to Ellaidhoo in the channel you will find this pinnacle with a top reef at around 8 meters, falling down to 30+ meters. Its location in the channel can make the dive bit challenging due to strong currents - just always remember to make a quick descent.

A thila situated in a channel 40 minutes from Kandolhu - a dive site not to be missed due to its variety of fish life. It was declared as national park in 1998. We have different ways to dive this dive site hence suitable with all kinds of currents, even strong current.

A cargo vessel which was sunk close to the resort Halaveli. It sits upright only 20 meters away from the reef - the deck at 21 meters, the bottom is on sand at 28 meters. Due to its depth deeep dive training or Advanced Diving certification as well as Nitrox are highly recommended.

Ellaidhoo Thila is a submerged pinnacle north of the resort island Ellaidhoo, close to Ellaidhoo Channel. The top reef is about 8 meters deep and falls down to 30+ meters sandy bottom. Sometimes the current can make this dive difficult - just always remember to make a quick descent.

Small thila situated on the eastern side of the atoll. A top reef between 6 and 15 meters falling down to a sandy bottom at 30 meters. The north side presents numerous overhangs - some bigger, some only small fissures. Vibrant marine life on the reef itself and out in the blue.

A small thila on the northwest of Kandolhu resort which is suitable for all level of divers. It offers plenty of marine life and with some luck even eagle rays or mobulas can be spotted. The top reef starts as shallow as 5 meters and it falls to a sandy bottom of 25 - 30 meters.

The reef of Kandolhu Maldives starts as shallow as 5 meters and slopes down to a 30+ meters sandy bottom. Mostly slopes at some places you have walls with a few nice overhangs, home to glass fishes and sometimes lucky enough to spot a resting turtle or a nurse shark.
