Schweriner Lastensegler (Wreck)

The Lastensegler is the approximately 100-year-old wreck of a historic cargo glider off the island of Ziegelwerder. The excellently preserved wreck lies at a depth of 18 meters on a flat keel and impresses with numerous details.

This site starts the other side of the bay where you are dropped of by rubber dinghy. From there you will dive back to the entry point at the base past the harbour.

A particularly rare relic of the Russian occupation period awaits you in the Schwerin Outer Sea. The wreck of a MiG-17 aircraft was long considered a legend, before it was finally found in 2013. This airplane wreck may only be approached from the local base.

A nice dive alongside the pier where you will see fish swimming by right in front of your mask. Maximum depth is 6 meters. The visibility is usually 4-8 meters.

This reef is located in the southwestern part of the Fisheries Protection Area (FSG) of the LFA at 11 to 12 m deep. The study area is located about 8 km west of Warnemünde and north of the Baltic Sea resort of Nienhagen at a distance of about 1.5 km from the shore.
