At the depth of 11 meters there is the shipwreck BYRON I. The shipwreck hosts tropical marine life such as lionfish and puffer fish. It is a sandy beach with a maximum depth of 12 meters. It lays 150 meters off the coast and it needs surface swimming.

An amazing place for shore dives. Several depths for every dive type. From 3m to 38m, where the well know WWII anchor stands on the seabed! At the end of the bay of Hersonissos there is a wall type reef we call St. George, named after the church near by. The dive site is about 300 meters long and we split it in 2 parts. Shallow and Deeper. Shallow part starts from 6 meters depth and goes down to 12-13 meters. Deeper part is from 12 to 19 meters.

This Messerschmitt BF109 aircraft is a wreck from WWII. It is in good condition with only the tail missing from the site. The aircraft was most likely shot down during the battle of Crete in May-June 1941.
