Middle Point

Middle point “MEDHU FARU“ offers different varieties of fish life. At 30m overhangs are covered with sea fans and between 8-20m. Drifting to the inside will take you along rich coral formations. The best diving can be archived during a north east current.

You will see jack fish, groupers, napoleon wrasse, red snappers, white tip reef sharks, turtles, moray eels, and dog tooth tunas.

Kuda Kandu means small channel and is situated north of Guraidhoo channel, which has a very shallow sandy bottom at 12 meters deep and 10 meters wide. It is deep inside the atoll with colonies of stony corals which give good hide away spots to blue stripe yellow snappers.

Lhosfushi corner can be dived with strong or medium flowing inward or outward of the atoll, or with no current at all.It’s therefore a suitable dive site for all level, with both good hard & soft corals, and a very dense fish life.

Kandooma Caves is blissful with huge green sea turtles. Most divers average seeing 8-9 turtles in a single dive. You will drift along at an average depth of 25 meters where you will see large coral blocks surrounded by Oriental sweet lips and emperors.

This is a long, gently dropping reef. An easy dive site for every level of diver. Best depth is in the 5 to 20-meter zone. During the month of August, there is a strong possibility to see whale sharks with the small incoming south to east current.
