Internship starts in July 2017 Young people interested in diving medicine and physiology, biomedical engineering and research are invited to apply for the DAN Europe Research Internship Program, which will start on 3 July 2017. Applications are open till 3 April 2017. The internship is aimed primarily at undergraduates at the Bachelor or Masters levels, as well as researchers from private organisations. The training will be held mainly at the Institute of Diving Medicine and Safety (IDMS) in Malta. Possible duties include fieldwork, laboratory work and/or participation in epidemiological studies – all of which will focus on dive safety. Participants will receive free accommodation on campus. Academic credits (for example, for ECTS) can also be given for the three-week internship. The application deadline for this is 3 April 2017.
