Advanced Decompression Procedures Instructor - The Strategies for Accelerated Decompression in Technical Diving

Content: This course examines strategies for accelerated decompression. You are presented with the option of multiple Nitrox blends and the use of 100% oxygen. You will learn advanced ppO2 management procedures to control CNS toxicity dose. Training dives are conducted to depths as deep as 180 fsw and two gasses are used for stage decompression.

Prerequisits for the SSI TechXR Decompression Procedures Instructor & Advanced Decompression Procedures Instructor Rating(s):

• SSI Deep Diving- and SSI Diver Stress & Rescue- and SSI EAN Nitrox Specialty Instructor
• SSI Navigation- or Wreck Diving- or Cavern Specialty Instructor, SSI Advanced Open Water Instructor
• SSI TechXR Technical Foundations Instructor or equivalent
• SSI TechXR Decompression Procedures Diver or equivalent
• Minimum 10 Divers as Technical Foundations Diver certified or equivalent
• Minimum 30 logged Decompression Dives
