A service for SSI Divers in case of loss or omission of the certification card!

Each SSI Diver can check their own data or allow checks at his/her free will if a certificate was issued for them:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Date of Birth

Terms of Use:

  • Users of this service accept that all rights of the content of this area are reserved worldwide by the persons (certification owners) and Concept Systems Inc.
  • Active Dive Professionals and Dive Centers are authorized to use this content to verify the certification status of the certification owner for purposes of educational activities and/or recreational diving activities. The requested data is allowed to be shown on the screen.
  • Transfer of personal data to third parties without written authorization of the certification owner is strictly prohibited.
  • Temporary Cards are for personal use of the certification owner only. Temporary Cards may be duplicated by the certification owner for personal needs. Further duplication - completely or partially - in electronic, mechanical or any other format must be accompanied with written authorization of such from the certification owner.
  • The transfer of the content - completely or partially - in electronic, mechanical or any other format to third parties is strictly prohibited.

 SSI Dive Leader Levels of Recognition — A symbol of success!

SSI is the only agency that recognizes Dive Professionals for reaching targeted milestones. SSI's Levels of Recognition is an opportunity to commemorate your hard-won accomlishments and show the world you are one of divings elite.

Experience Points count toward Master, Century, Gold 500, Platinum 1000 and Platinum Pro 5000 Instructor recognition ratings.

 

 

Master Instructor. There are three ways to become an SSI Master Instructor:

Option 1

  • Be currently certified as an Advanced Open Water Instructor
  • Have at least 4 years of SSI Teaching experience
  • Have conducted at least 100 SSI classes at any level
  • Have logged at least 400 dives

Option 2

  • Be currently certified as an Advanced Open Water Instructor
  • Have at least 3 years of SSI Teaching experience
  • Have certified at least 300 SSI divers at any level
  • Have logged at least 300 dives

Option 3

  • Be currently certified as a Dive Control Specialist Instructor
  • Have at least 2 years of SSI Teaching experience
  • Have certified at least 200 SSI divers at any level
  • Have logged at least 200 dives

The minimum Age for Master Instructor is 20

 

 

Century Instructor
To qualify for Century Instructor, the SSI Dive Leader needs to provide proof of 100 Experience Points, as outlined in the SSI Instructor DiveLog.


 

 

 

Gold 500 Instructor
To qualify for Gold 500 Instructor, the SSI Dive Leader needs to provide proof of 500 Experience Points, as outlined in the SSI Instructor DiveLog.


 

 

 

 Platinum 1000 Instructor
To qualify for Platinum 1000 Instructor, the SSI Dive Leader needs to provide proof of 1000 Experience Points, as outlined in the SSI Instructor DiveLog.


 

 

 

Platinum Pro 5000
Platinum Pros can be defined as the world’s most elite water explorers. The list of card holders is a “Who’s who” of diving, containing the world’s most prominent dive leaders.

What makes this award so special is that it’s all about diving. The unsung dive master on any island and Jacques Cousteau earned their cards the same way — by diving 5,000 times, or diving 2,500 times and making a documented/significant contribution to the recreational scuba diving industry. The Platinum Pro 5000 card cannot be purchased. Individuals must apply for the award and be recommended in writing by two Platinum Pros.

To qualify for Platinum Pro 5000 Instructor, the SSI Dive Leader needs to:

  • Provide proof of 5000 Experience Points, as outlined in the SSI Instructor DiveLog.
  • Provide a letter of recommendation from two existing Platinum Pro 5000 Instructors.

  • Provide Proof of 2500 Experience Points. • Have 10 or more years of professional experience in the scuba diving field.
  • Have made a significant contribution to the diving industry.
  • Provide a letter of recommendation from two existing Platinum Pro 5000 Instructors.
