GI BILL® ELIGIBILITY

Who Qualifies for VA Reimbursement?

GI Bill® benefits are available to U.S. Veterans, active-duty service members, National Guard or Reserve members, and eligible survivors or dependents. Benefits may cover tuition, fees, books, and housing, depending on eligibility. Military service must have started after June 30, 1985.

Reimbursement applies only to certification at approved SSI Training Centers and must be requested with the VA form, proof of certification and proof of payment.
