Are you already a Basic Freediver and would you like to earn the SSI Freediver certification? This course series starts at the Basic Freediver level, and we build on that through depth sessions at Nemo33 to help you earn the Freediver certification.

Dry suit diving opens a world of possibilities, including dives to remote Arctic destinations and dive sites in cold water full of life. Dry suit diving is also a great way to stay warm on days with multiple dives, when you don't want to spend time putting on and taking off a cold wetsuit. The SSI Dry Suit Diver Specialty program is the best way to become a dry suit diver, teaching you all the knowledge and techniques you need to dive safely and comfortably in a dry suit. You will learn how to use specialized equipment such as dry suits and jackets, the benefits of dry suits and how to handle dry suit emergencies - which are unique to this type of diving. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Dry Suit Diving Specialty Brevet.

After an extensive briefing & mask adjustments we will enter the pool for the first introduction to the full face mask. We do this on Wednesday April 22nd in the swimming pool of Temse or if desired on Thursday April 23rd in Beveren.After this first meeting we will make 2 dives in the pit of ekeren on Saturday, April 25, appointment already at 8 am, end foreseen between 12 & 1 pm.

As a Nitrox diver you can increase your bottom times or safety margins and of course shorten surface intervals - so you can spend more time exploring the dive sites you love most and less time waiting! In this program, you will learn new skills and increase your diving knowledge while learning how to safely plan and dive with enriched air mixtures containing up to 40% oxygen. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% certification.

Night diving is a completely new experience - and requires extra skills. With the SSI Night Diving & Limited Visibility Specialty you will discover how to dive in the dark safely, relaxed and with full enjoyment. This program is a great way to refine your night diving techniques and learn how to deal with limited visibility situations by combining online learning with real open water diving. So you learn step by step how to enter and exit the water safely, what extra equipment you need and how to communicate smoothly with your buddy in the dark. In short: everything you need to know to dive confidently at night. We meet 2 to 3 times for this specialty.

Anyone with a Night & Limited Visibility certification (or equivalent) is welcome to join the ScubaXP Halloween dive. Don’t have a Night & Limited Visibility certification yet? Then you can complete the dives for this specialty during this Halloween edition of one of the most fun specialties we offer. The Assistant Instructor certification is the next step after becoming a Divemaster and another step on your path to becoming a dive instructor. This will give you valuable teaching experience. You practice briefings, give theory and lessons in the water. If you want to continue your career as a dive professional, you can complete the Instructor Training Course, pass an Instructor Evaluation and become an Open Water Diving Instructor.

Start Today - You must be a Divemaster or equivalent to participate in SSI's 3-step Instructor Training. The training process begins with participation in the combination Assistant Instructor / Instructor Training Course with Digital Learning. After successful completion of the Instructor Training Course (ITC), you will participate in an Instructor Evaluation (IE) to qualify as an SSI Open Water Instructor. This 10-day training program entitles you to independently teach several key SSI programs such as Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox, Diver Stress & Rescue and Dive Guide.For those who want to take more time to learn and gain valuable teaching experience between courses, the 3 sections can also be taken as separate steps - Assistant Instructor, Instructor Training Course (ITC) and Instructor Evaluation (IE) sequentially at your own pace and with a flexible schedule.
