In the SSI Basic Diver program, you’ll learn the concepts and skills you need to dive to a depth of 12 meters with an SSI professional. It’s a fantastic way to try scuba diving while exploring the underwater world. The entire Basic Diver program can be credited toward the Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver programs within the following 6 months; taking the next step in your diving journey will be that easy.

The SSI Diver Stress and Rescue specialty program teaches you the skills you need to protect yourself and other divers. You will learn how to identify stress, how to prevent accidents and be taught practical techniques to conduct rescues and provide emergency care. With a combination of pool and open water practice sessions, you will become well prepared and confident at handling emergency and rescue situations. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue Specialty certification.

Nitrox (enriched air) helps you extend your dive time at recreational depths and also ensures that you remain outside the no-decompression limits while staying within air limits.

If you cannot decide which specialty programs are the best choice for you, join the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver program! You will try Deep Diving and Navigation plus a variety of 3 more specialty areas of choice before committing to full specialty training. It is a great way to experience what advanced diver training is all about and how valuable it can be to your diving adventures. During the Advanced Open Water Diver Program, you will experience 5 different specialties by completing one open water training dive per specialty after a comprehensive briefing with your SSI Instructor. By taking this program you will have total freedom to explore. You can complete the full Specialty trainings any time in the future and credit your Advanced Open Water Diver training towards them.

The SSI Perfect Buoyancy specialty is the best way to improve your buoyancy and get the most from every dive. Buoyancy is an essential dive skill, but any diver will tell you it takes time to perfect. The Perfect Buoyancy specialty will teach you advanced buoyancy skills and techniques, so you can master your buoyancy more quickly and enjoy more relaxed dive adventures. In this fascinating program, you will also learn new skills that protect the environment and work in every diving situation. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Perfect Buoyancy Specialty certification. With better buoyancy skills, you will soon be able to hover with ease and take the underwater photographs you dream of!

Enroll in SSI's Science of Diving specialty to gain a thorough understanding of the underwater world and its effects on the human body. This specialty, which is required for completion of most SSI Professional programs as well as some Extended Range programs, is an excellent opportunity to expand your diving knowledge. It's available online, so you can earn your SSI Science of Diving specialty certification from home and prepare to start your career. Upon completion, you will earn your SSI Science of Diving specialty certification and be halfway to completing the desired SSI Divemaster rating.

Dive safely—knowing where you are during a dive and where you need to go is important for making the most of your bottom time and tank air by exploring the best spots at a dive site.

Learn how to organize and plan your deep dives, safe descents, safe navigation, monitoring your depth, air consumption, and your buddy’s air consumption, safe ascent, safety stops, ascent buoys, and dive logs.

In this course, we’ll dive on three different shipwrecks in Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos, and Cozumel. Once you’ve completed the course requirements, you’ll receive your Recreational Wreck Diver certification.

Get started today: You must be a Divemaster or equivalent to join our 3-step instructor training approach. To start the training process, enroll in the Assistant Instructor/Instructor Training Course combination and supplement it with digital learning. Once you have successfully completed the course, you can complete the Instructor Evaluation (IE) to qualify as an SSI Open Water Instructor. This 10-day training program allows you to teach several key SSI programs independently, such as Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox, Diver Stress & Rescue and Dive Guide. For those students who prefer to learn slowly between training programs and gain teaching experience, the 3 parts can also be completed as individual steps: Assistant Instructor, Instructor Training Course (ITC) and Instructor Evaluation (IE), one after the other, at your own pace and flexible schedule.

After becoming a Divemaster, the Assistant Instructor qualification is the next step in a dive instructor's career path. This program allows you to gain teaching experience, practice briefings and provide in-water and classroom training. If you want to advance your career as a dive professional, you can take the Instructor Training Course, pass the Instructor Evaluation and become an Open Water Diving Instructor.

Best cenote cavern ever, two shallow cavern dives, more than 200 m. visibility, calme water, wide open, several openings direct to day light, formations and more. Only for certified divers.

Diving with bull sharks is one of the most exciting and interesting activities you can experience in your life. You’ll dive with a certified guide who is specially trained for this type of dive. You’ll discover that bull sharks are curious animals—they’ll come a little closer and then swim away, accompanying you throughout the dive. Maximum depth: 28 m. After this dive, we’ll do a shallow dive on a beautiful coral reef teeming with marine life.

Night dive, maximum 8 persons.
