This site is suitable only for advanced divers and EAN is highly recommended. on a trip there you do at least 2 dives, inside and outside around. The bridge rises up to 17 m. SSI Service Center Egypt, 84517 Hurghada Elphinstone Reef (★4.4) This is one of the most famous dive site in Egypt. The Elphinstone Reef is full of healthy corals, magnificent clear blue water, and rich marine life. It is also a great destination to see your first shark. Peter S. (#417559) Daedalus Reef (★4.3) Deadalus Reef can only be reached by Liveaboard boats and is one of the top dive sites on most diver’s wish list. A stand alone 400m long reef approx. 80km away from Marsa Alam, this spectacular reef is difficult to miss as it even has its own lighthouse. SSI Service Center Egypt, Hurghada Elphinstone South (★4.4) Elphinstone South is an amazing off-shore reef dive and preferred by many as an afternoon dive due to the fantastic lighting. Eagle Divers, Sharm El- Sheikh Woodhouse Reef (★4.4) Fun drift dive from the boat, Woodhouse is the longest of the 4 main reefs in the Straits of Tiran. Currents can be strong. There is a split in the middle of the reef and care needs to be taken towards the end of the reef where a washing machine effect can sometimes be present. The reef is fabulously colorful! Grzegorz K. Steep walls on east and west side, depth 40m+ with current mostly from north direction, in light to medium strength. ORCA DIVE CLUB Paradisio, El Gouna Rosalie Moller (★4.5) About 2.5 hours to the north is the famous sister ship of the Thistlegorm. The highest point of the wreck lies at 35m and the deepest at 50m. Often there is a strong current and the visibility can be limited.
