In this flexible diving program, you can choose which topics you want to learn, including primary assessment, first aid, CPR and primary stabilization techniques. You can also learn about administering oxygen in diving emergencies and the basics of using an automated external defibrillator (AED). With a combination of theoretical sections and practical training scenarios, this program will give you the tools and confidence you need to respond in emergency situations. By the time you gain certification, you will be able to act as a paramedic, provide first aid and CPR, administer oxygen and provide AED support in a medical emergency. If you love diving but are satisfied with diving under the supervision of an SSI professional to a maximum depth of 12m, the Scuba Diver course is for you. The SSI Scuba Diver course will provide you with the knowledge and training to dive to a maximum depth of 12m. under the direct supervision of an SSI professional. The student will undergo partial Open Water Diver training during the training.

Independent diver in purpose-built pools or aquariums. The SSI Indoor Diver course is designed primarily for those who do not wish to dive in open water but are attracted to working in aquariums or pools for example, taking photographs, filming or perhaps cleaning. During the training, the student will go through practically the entire training of the Open Water Diver course, except for the open water training. Upon completion of the program, you will be certified as an SSI Indoor Diver.

The Assistant Instructor qualification is the next step after earning the Divemaster award on the diving instructor pathway. Diving in Austria's Lake Attersee equates to spectacular diving in a glacial lake with visibility of up to 20 meters. Lake Attersee is the third largest and third deepest lake in Austria, reaching a magical depth of 171m in places. The Salzkammergutberge Alpine Mountains tower over the Austrian lakes, with its highest point at 2028m above sea level, and the site itself offers more than 20 dive sites suitable for both novice divers and experienced technical divers. And that's where we're going now ... so get ready for a wonderful long weekend in the Alps in April. We'll be staying in the town of Weyregg just a short drive from the divecenter, diving, mountains, diving again and lots of fun. The site is located at a former dolomite quarry that was completely flooded—including the mining equipment—after the power was cut off. Svobodné Heřmanice is a shale quarry near Krnov, 500 m long, about 30-70 m wide, about 36 m deep. It is a trough sloping down to the middle of the quarry. The normal entrance to the water is on the north side with an iron footbridge. From here, at a depth of about 17 m, the Permon submersible cabin is anchored by chains - a large caisson, in which historical experiments with long-term stay of man under water were conducted. Further on there are trees, a metal tub, a car skeleton and a pump. Behind the rocky embankment there is a 1x1 m well, where then behind it towards the south is the deepest place - 36 m. Every year, tons of trash end up in the oceans, destroying the marine environment. An ocean current has carried many plastic bottles and other trash to one of our favorite destinations—let’s work together to clean it up and help keep the ocean as clean as possible. During our dives, we’ll be cleaning the seabed of plastic and other trash in the bay near the town of Herceg Novi, Montenegro. We’ll be there on June 15 starting at 10:00 a.m. Please bring your Blue Oceans mesh bags for the dives.

Hello friends, watermen and women, the year has come full circle once again and we are approaching the end of the year and the holidays of peace and quiet. So come to our Christmas get-together on December 11, 2026 at 6 pm at our dive center and Café Bar Manta. We'll sit and chat over a glass of our favourite drink (yes, there will be Kraken). We've also prepared some snacks for the hungry, so you won't starve here. And who can come - well, anyone who likes water a bit more than just showering :-)
