The name comes from the profile of a witch's head that can be seen on the Leucate cliff when you're on site. Mares La Faille (★4.4) La Faille at Cap Leucate is a unique dive site with an underwater fault reaching a depth of 25 m. Recommended for intermediate to advanced divers. Mares, Janez Kranjc la falaise (★4.0) The Leucate Cliff offers diving along coastal rock formations, featuring drop-offs, faults, and sheltered areas that allow divers to explore the Mediterranean seabed in a remarkable natural setting. Aqualung Anse Du Paradis (★4.3) Anse of Paradise at La Franqui is a popular dive site for its clear, shallow waters, ideal for beginners. Mares Les deux tours (★4.3) Substantial rocky plateau with a maximum depth of 10 to 12 metres. Height of relief between 30cm and 1m20. Situated opposite the two towers visible from the Leucate cliffs. Mares Épave Japonais (★5.0) In the port city of Port-la-Nouvelle, it's known as the "Japanese". This is the sad story of the Shigizan Maru, which became one of the many wrecks in the Mediterranean, built in the Netherlands and ended its life off the coast of Aude, between La Nouvelle and La Franqui. Mares, Janez Kranjc La lagune Les Vallons (★4.0) Les Vallons, in the Leucate lagoon, offers calm, shallow-water diving, ideal for beginners, underwater photography, and observing the biodiversity unique to Mediterranean lagoon environments.
