The pool is three meters deep and around nine meters long. There is a changing room and shower on site GET WET WAIKATO, 3200 HAMILTON Matapaua Bay (★3.7) Sandy Bay in the middle, Shallow reefs on either side. Great for beginner divers or OW1 and 2. During summer the bay can have heavy boat traffic so be careful. SE is the worst wind and swell for the bay. On the far east side of the bay there is a 3 level drop on to rocky reef. As you head towards humbug bay there is a lot of boulder area with deep cracks and holes and comes up to a couple of caves. GET WET WAIKATO, 3200 HAMILTON BIG BAY (★4.2) It is as it sounds, a big bay with diving spots everywhere around the bay. deeper as you head towards the middle, white sand patches on the western edge. GET WET WAIKATO, 3200 HAMILTON OHINAU ISLAND (★4.5) Ohinau Island is one of the coromandel peninsulas abandoned islands which have since been part of the Mercury Island group and offer some wicked dives GET WET WAIKATO, 3200 HAMILTON THE MAORI LADY (★4.7) The Maori Lady is a great island to dive on with 3 different dive sites on the island. Each dive sight is completely different to the next with the island being able to shelter in most weather.
