Well, then you’ve come to the right place at De BUDDY’S!Duikclub De Buddy’s is a close-knit and enthusiastic diving community in the heart of Kalmthout, Belgium. Since our founding in 1991, we have been bringing together people who share a passion for the underwater world. With a team of no fewer than 7 experienced instructors and a membership of about 60 active divers, we offer a safe, friendly, and educational environment for both beginner and advanced divers.Have you always wanted to know what it feels like to breathe underwater?Then feel free to stop by for an introductory dive at the Kalmthout municipal swimming pool to get acquainted with the sport of diving and our club.Our weekly training sessions take place on Wednesday evenings from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Friday evenings from 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., where we work on technique, fitness, and diving skills—always under the guidance of certified instructors. Please note: you must be at least 14 years old to participate.To ensure we have everything in place to make your initiation as successful as possible, we ask that you fill out the information below and register via the SSI link at the bottom of the page.Please also fill out the SSI form “SSI Introduction: Fit to Dive Screening and Responsible Diver Code” and upload it via the “File” link on this formThis way, we can: - Assign a guide for you. - Check in advance to ensure we have the most suitable equipment ready for you. - Arrange your insurance for that evening.- Register with SSIIf you have your own fins and a diving mask, please bring them with you to the introductory session.Thank you in advance!
