The SSI Extended Range Foundations program offers all divers the opportunity to expand their advanced diving skills in a workshop setting. Learn more about using technical equipment with any full diving system for which you are certified, and build on your basic skills to master buoyancy, trim, finning techniques, positioning, and communication. The Extended Range Foundations program provides supplemental training to existing certifications to increase the diver’s confidence and control in the water. All training dives are completed in a pool or controlled water environment at a depth of less than 12 meters / 40 feet. Upon completion of this program, you will earn the SSI Extended Range Foundations certification.
