This dive is suitable from July to September due to water conditions. A wide but long staircase leads to the water. Lars O. (#2663173) Amslerbecken (★4.5) Limited parking, you have to go through meadow/forest on a path down to the divesite, a lot of fine sand available at the site, safety of divers is necessary. Benjamin L. (#2596170) Ponte Brolla Orrido (Canyon) (★4.1) First dive through the shallow water at the sandbank. Dive slightly to the left (heading north-east) towards the large stones. After the stones, dive against the current. Here you will find a landscape with spectacular rocks. Dive upstream against the current for about 150 m and then drift back to the rocks. Scubapro Gola del Lupo (★4.3) River diving in the Maggia at Gola de Lupo (Wolfsrachen). After a dive in the first pool, under the bridge, there is a short walk along the riverbed (15 minutes) to the second pool. At the end of this pool is a beautiful waterfall. Mares, Janez Kranjc Punta Granelli (★3.9) This dive site is among the most popular on Lake Maggiore. This is thanks to its vertical white rock that extends to a depth of about 100 meters, making it suitable for tech diving. Parking is available, along with a kiosk for lunch. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Relitti di Ranco (★3.6) A very nice dive, with a lot of little wrecks connected by an underwater path. Winter is the best time for diving on this spot due to high visibility. Suitable for OWD as well as for advanced divers.
