There is a lot of eel and walleye. Also various objects! A nice place to dive! Tauchsportzentrum Niederrhein, 46562 Voerde Kreidesee Hemmoor - Einstieg 1 (★4.4) Kreide-See is a well known and popular diving lake. In former times chalk was mined here. The roads, the vibrator, trucks, conveyor belts, and some machines that were needed for the mining can still be visited underwater. Tauchschule Dankern, 49716 Meppen Dankernsee (★4.3) Near the border with Ter Apel (Groningen, Netherlands) lies Dankern. A lake with light blue water and a nice underwater park. Not much life, but the visibility and the nice objects makes up for this. Tauchschule 2 Elements, 44265 Dortmund Kreidesee Hemmoor - Einstieg 0 (★4.4) Entry can be reached via the large meadow in the direction of the jetty and takes you directly to the platform at 5 meters. Very good for skill exercises. Wanderlust Dive Center, 7822 AD Emmen Ruinerwold (★3.9) A beautiful freshwater lake with lots of fish and a beautiful underwater environment. The peat walls in the middle of the lake are a nice area to dive, as well as the north and west side where the tree branches hang in the water. The tree roots on the northwest side are also worth a visit. KOSIE`S D.I.V.E. BASIS, 19065 Raben Steinfeld Kreidesee Hemmoor - Einstieg 3 (★4.4) The Chalk Lake has an area of 33 hectares and is 60 meters deep. During longer periods of good weather, visibility can rise up to 25 meters, thus creating an optimal dive location. Mares Kreidesee Hemmoor - Einstieg 4 (★4.4) Just perfect for everything :-) Diving, camping, eating, barbecuing, clear views, good visibility, dogs allowed, playground and much more... we love it there.
