SSI INSTRUCTOR TRAINER (IT)
Train and prepare future SSI Dive Leaders for their final evaluation.

Instructor Trainer (IT). Conduct the Instructor Training Course and prepare future SSI Instructors for their final Instructor Evaluation (IE), as well as train Advanced Open Water Instructors (AOWI's), Dive Control Specialist Instructors (DCSI's), and Instructor Upgrades / Crossovers.
To participate in an SSI Instructor Trainer Seminar you must apply and prepare yourself extensively. Please submit your application to your SSI Headquarters no later than six weeks prior to the start of the next seminar. Additional items to include with your application:
- Passport Picture
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- List of all certificates from all agencies
- Signed Medical from a doctor (not older than 1 year)
- First Aid, CPR & Oxygen Provider certificates (not older than 2 years)
- Business Plan as an Instructor Trainer
Your application can only be processed if you fulfill ALL prerequisites noted in the actual SSI Dive Center & Training Standards. Applying for an Instructor Training Seminar or simply meeting the standards does not automatically imply acceptance into the program. Your application will be carefully evaluated by your SSI Headquarters and the training department will review your paperwork with regard to professionalism, qualification and completeness. You will receive notification within one week after your documents were received, if you are accepted for the next Instructor Trainer Seminar.
