Pacug reef is applicable for diving beginners and advanced divers. The reef offers good diving conditions with usually no or little current. The average depth of the dive site is 13m but you can also reach 23m in the sandy area. Diving is not possible only in the case of strong North Wind.

When a strong “bura“ blows, this is the only place we can dive. It is a shallow flat site with a lot of rocks forming some little canyons in between. Perfect for beginners or open water students. Even experienced divers can enjoy that dive looking for some interesting macro stuff

The cargo S/S Gilda, loaded with magnesite and equipment at Triest, ran aground and then hit a mine 3.5 nautical miles WNW of Punta Salvore (Point Savudrija, Croatia) on June 23rd 1915. Gilda sank in three minutes time, but without loss of life. It is on 26m split into 2 parts which are 48m from each other.
