Diving in Tanzania

There is a lot to see and do in Tanzania in addition to diving and Mount Kilimanjaro. The country is home (at least partially) to three of Africa’s Great Lakes. Lake Victoria, Lake Malawi and, Lake Tanganyika all can be accessed from Tanzania. There are over 100 languages spoken in the country although Swahili is the official language and English is commonly taught and used as well.

The United Republic of Tanzania is a country located on the southeast coast of Africa and as famous for its safari as it is for being the home to Mount Kilimanjaro, which is the highest mountain on the continent of Africa. Tanzania is also a country of riches under the surface of the water, with the Indian Ocean coastline and spectacular Zanzibar Archipelago promising gin-clear waters and amazing diversity when it comes to marine life. Africa’s great rift valley lakes can also be found here, meaning that divers can choose between amazing lake diving, shore dives and liveaboards.
