Diving the Pacific Ocean

The deepest of the world’s oceans is the Pacific Ocean, with a maximum depth of 10,911 m (35,797 ft). This big blue is also the largest, with an extension that covers 65,250,000 km2 (63,800,000 sq mi). Its large extension allows for many diverse dive sites and underwater places to explore, such as WWII wrecks, walls, and drop-offs. Some of the top diving destinations in the Pacific include Fiji, Vanuatu, Guam, Palau, and French Polynesia among others. Species such as different types of sharks, manta rays, dolphins, big old turtles starfish and reef fish swim in these turquoise waters.
