Silfra Diving

La Silfra è una spaccatura formatasi nel confine tettonico divergente tra la placca nordamericana e quella eurasiatica e si trova in Islanda. È l'unico posto al mondo dove è possibile immergersi tra due placche tettoniche.

L'acqua fredda e limpida della Silfra non supporta molta vita marina. L'unico pesce che si trova qui è il salmerino nano, tuttavia è difficile da individuare.
