Diving in Tikehau

Tikehau is popular with both land tourists and scuba divers. This region is considered to be one of the most beautiful atolls in Polynesia. Jacques Cousteau declared this place to have the highest concentration of fish in the whole of the Tuamotu Islands. Some of the most popular dive sites you can’t miss, include: Old Pearl Farm, Tuheiava, Shark’s Hole, and Teonai. Most of the dive sites are located near the pass where you can find a unique mix of different fish species flowing in and out of the lagoon with the tide.
