Underwater Cleanup Aegiali Amorgos
We are calling all scuba divers, ocean lovers, and environmental advocates! Dive beneath the waves with us for a meaningful underwater cleanup event. Together, we'll explore the mesmerizing underwater world while making a positive impact on marine conservation.
Activities:
Underwater cleanup: Dive alongside fellow volunteers to remove marine debris from the seabed, reefs, and underwater structures. Every piece of trash collected helps protect marine life and preserve the beauty of our oceans.
Dive safety briefing: Prior to the cleanup, certified dive instructors will provide essential safety guidelines and environmental conservation tips.
Marine education: Learn about the importance of marine biodiversity, the impact of pollution on underwater ecosystems, and how individuals can take action to protect our oceans.
Volunteer appreciation: After the cleanup, gather for a debriefing session and celebrate our collective achievements with refreshments and camaraderie.
What to Bring:
Mesh bags or containers for collecting marine debris (if available).
Sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses for surface intervals.
How to Participate:
This event is open to certified scuba divers of all levels.
