SSI - Scuba Schools International is a globally operating subsidiary of the HEAD Sporting Goods Group and a leading training organization in diving and water sports. As the recognized most innovative brand, SSI develops modern teaching concepts and standards, as well as the appropriate digital teaching material for water sports enthusiasts (swimming, snorkeling, freediving, scuba diving).

We are continuing to expand at our headquarters in Wendelstein, in the metropolitan region of Nuremberg, and are looking for a Programmer.

Areas of responsibility

  • Development and implementation of web applications using PHP, Javascript/TypeScript, CSS, and MySQL
  • Analysis of requirements and creation of technical specifications
  • Troubleshooting, optimization, and maintenance of existing applications
  • Collaborating with other developers to find innovative solutions
  • Ensuring code quality, performance, and security

Technical Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of programming with PHP and Javascript/TypeScript
  • Experience working with CSS for responsive web design
  • Good knowledge of database development with MySQL
  • Flexibility and ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Team spirit and strong communication skills for effective collaboration
  • Structured and independent way of working
  • Good written and spoken German
  • Knowledge of English is an advantage
  • Affinity for diving desirable but not a prerequisite
