Grotte à Corail, Lion de Mer

The dive site “Lion of the Sea“ is one of the richest sites in fauna and flora of the Fréjus Saint Raphael region. The coral cave is about 30-33m deep. This dive may be coupled with a visit to the wreck “The Sailboat“ at 36-38m.

Rocky cliff, then cave full of gorgonians, moray eels, grouper, conger, and especially the jewel of the cave: the red Mediterranean coral. There are also many crustaceans & sea snails (nudibranchs).
