El Cabron

Located near Arinaga, about 20 minutes journey from the centre is the Arinaga Marine Reserve, this location has 4/5 different dive routes, ranging from 10m to 31m, lots of Marine life, small caverns, swim throughs and schoals of fish in abundant supply.

Roncadores, Nudi’s, Octopus, Rays, Angel Shark, Trumpet fish, Parrot fish, Moray Eels, Wrasse, Damselfish and at a depth of 30m a rather impressive green coral.

Spanish freighter sunk due to a fire in the engine room in 1972. After the evacuation of the crew, she sank while being towed to port. With more than 100 meters in length, she lies on a sandy bottom at an approximate depth of 33 meters with her shallowest part at 20 meters.
