Karang Sari

Karang Sari is a bay on the east coast of Nusa Penida and is a large dive site that can be dived in a number of ways. The reef plateau at around 10-12m hosts a number of large bommies and the deeper wall features large sea fans and overhangs.

The plateau hosts a lot of interesting macro life and hard corals whereas the deeper wall features sea fans, reef fish and the chance to see pelagic species.

Suana is located on the east coast of Nusa Penida and offers a nice wall dive where the reef drops to an unknown depth. The currents can be strong, but if you dive at the right time, it is a pleasant dive.

Pura Mas Gading

Located between the dive sites Buyuk and Sental, PMG is marked with a small temple in the shallows and is a common place to see mola mola cleaning (at the right time of year). Usually a gentle drift, this site is a gentle slope with plenty of soft corals and an abundance of fish life.

This dive site is easy access in and out by speed boat, and best to dive with the current. Divers and a dive leader should be well coordinating with a speed boat captain about the dive time, pick up point and exit the dive. Reef is absolutely beautiful and extended pristine coral reef.

Ped is a beautiful dive site on the north side of Nusa Penida. It is only a 5 minute boat ride out of Nomads Diving. Ped features a sloping reef starting at 5m, descending all the way to 40m and beyond. Currents range from mild to strong.

SD Point is an abbreviation for ‘Sekolah Dasar’ or elementary school. It’s arguably the most diverse collection of corals in Bali. Having shelf slope bottom parallel along the beach cover with abundant corals make this site is great for Drift Dive activities. Occasionally the current could be very strong.

Dan’s Reef

Dan’s Reef is the house reef situated just in front on Nomads Diving, Nusa Penida. It is accessible by shore entry, or boat entry. It is a beautiful, relatively untouched dive site that can be prone to strong currents during tidal changes. Shallow steps followed by a deep sloping area are the main characteristics.
