1 hour to the south of El Gouna you can find the Fanadir reefs. This site features a wall which is full of marine life. After the wall sits a Plateau which is about 20m wide and then there is a drop-off to over 70m depth. On the plateau you will find some pinnacles to explore.

Este site está localizado no recife de Abu Galawa, que fica cerca de 1 hora ao sul de Elgouna. Este local de mergulho é adequado para todos os mergulhadores, especialmente os iniciantes. A profundidade é de cerca de 4m com uma profundidade máxima de apenas 10m. Há belos pináculos cheios de vidro e peixes anthias. About 2 hours southeast of El Gouna is one of the most beautiful reefs of El Gouna. Since the reef is located in the open sea, there are often strong currents. This gives the possibility for many predators to inhabit the reef and corals, due to the great living conditions.

1 hour south of El Gouna is Marsa Abu Galawa. It is a nice bay with a drop off full of beautiful hard corals. In the bay you find nice coral blocks and inside there is a shallow sea gras area.

This site is about 1 hour and 30 min away from Elgouna to the southeast. This site is considered one of best dive sites in this area. It is roughly 200 meters long and full of hard and soft coral. There is a nice sloping drop-off on both sides. A fun dive for drift divers and also for a technical divers as well.

Gota Iris é o último bloco de Shaab Iris. Shaab Iris está localizado na região de Abu Nugar, que fica a cerca de 1 hora e meia de El Gouna e consiste de um recife principal e muitos blocos de corais. A profundidade média é de 14m.

Este mergulho fica cerca de 1 hora ao sul de El Gouna. As linhas de amarração estão localizadas no interior da pequena baía. Da baía há um muro que sai até chegar a alguns belos blocos de recife nos baixios rasos onde se encontra uma gota descendo até 40m. Lá você pode encontrar um pequeno cânion.

The big brother to Shabrur Umm Gamar, this site is about 1h20min to the southeast of El Gouna. This site is great for all levels of divers, beginners to experienced, recreational and technical. Drift dives occur very often here. There are nice plateaus and pinnacles on the east and west side and there is a small nice cave on the east side as well.
