Pecio Arona
Spanish freighter sunk due to a fire in the engine room in 1972. After the evacuation of the crew, she sank while being towed to port. With more than 100 meters in length, she lies on a sandy bottom at an approximate depth of 33 meters with her shallowest part at 20 meters.
The wreck creates an artificial reef. Shoals of fulas, bogas, bicuda and stingrays and angel sharks under the hull of the ship. Nudibranchs, anemones and canary lobster are common.
