Rasdhoo Channel

Situado ao sul de Kuramathi, a dois minutos de carro da chegada do resort e do cais de excursão, os mergulhadores estão frequentemente no recife de Fan, é um mergulho de parede fácil e perfeito para iniciantes e Open Water Divers. A maioria das coisas boas pode ser vista em profundidades rasas. No entanto, é também pelo que eles podem ver tão perto da costa.

Rasdhoo é um local interessante com a parede da ilha de Rasdhoo em um lado e enormes blocos de coral (ou thilas) montados na queda íngreme do atol do lado de fora. Este barco de 40m de comprimento foi afundado em 1987. Descansando a uma profundidade máxima de 20m, este local é perfeito para todos os níveis de mergulho e, devido à sua localização abrigada, faz um grande mergulho noturno.

Rasdhoo Madivaru is a channel located at the intersection of the local islands of Rasdhoo and Madivaru. Dive along the edge of parallel or perpendicular reef formations across the channel and explore the sandy areas.

Three Palms offers a quiet dive along a wall with 3 beautiful formations of table corals which gives this spot its name. On the top of the house reef you can see blacktip reef sharks, in the channel eagle rays, and sometimes reef mantas. On the wall are also lionfish, lobsters, and a lot of small fish!

This dive site starts as a wall dive and leads into the channel, here you can enter the channel to enjoy a deeper dive or stay on the drop off point of the channel where you can enjoy all the fish life in the current.

O Hammerhead Shark Point está situado em frente a Madivaru, embora os tubarões possam ser encontrados tão ao sul quanto Kuramathi, a leste e em frente a Rasdhoo, ou em qualquer lugar do lado azul ou mesmo do lado do recife. Alguma sorte está claramente envolvida em avistar estas majestosas criaturas e não há apenas uma maneira de mergulhar na ponta do tubarão.

Boduga means big block in Dhivehi. This site derives its name from the large coral block that sits just 2 meters under the surface at the end of the island of Kuramathi near the sandbank.

These caves are located on the western end of the atoll past the Kuramathi Resort sandbank. There are many large overhangs here, but also two caves through which divers can swim (one at 18-20 meters, the other at 28-30 meters).
