More than 18 years ago, our captain Cesar Navas “La Leyenda“; he opened the doors of his house to his divers friends in the beautifull bay of La Ciénaga de Ocumare de la Costa (La Chuna, in honor of his mother); starting the history of the Refugio de Buzos (Divers Refuge). Today Refugio de Buzos is more than a dive place; It is a school and community of people passionate about the sea, which we usually operate between the Coasts of Morrocoy and the Ciénaga de Ocumare.

We are the architects of the Gran Roque and Carmen Fabiana artificial reefs located in Guabinas Bay, near the Ciénaga de Ocumare and with important environmental conservation projects such as the Coral Farm and the Lionfish information and containment days. The protection of our seas and their resources is one of our fundamental values, which together with Probity, Equity, Excellence, Commitment, Transparency and Respect, defines and identifies us.
