A service for SSI Divers in case of loss or omission of the certification card!

Each SSI Diver can check their own data or allow checks at his/her free will if a certificate was issued for them:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Date of Birth

  • Users of this service accept that all rights of the content of this area are reserved worldwide by the persons (certification owners) and Concept Systems Inc.
  • Active Dive Professionals and Dive Centers are authorized to use this content to verify the certification status of the certification owner for purposes of educational activities and/or recreational diving activities. The requested data is allowed to be shown on the screen.
  • Transfer of personal data to third parties without written authorization of the certification owner is strictly prohibited.
  • Temporary Cards are for personal use of the certification owner only. Temporary Cards may be duplicated by the certification owner for personal needs. Exploration, exotic locations, amazing color and beauty... these are just a few of the things you will experience in the spectacular underwater world. Diving is a very relaxing and at the same time an exciting activity suitable for all age levels.

But only a few divers may have ever thought of taking the complete training in an Indoor Dive Center. This is possible with the SSI Indoor Diver Program and it provides a lot of advantages:
  • People interested in diving are able to complete full diver training program at any time regardless of the season under ideal conditions
  • After successful completion of the Indoor Diver Program divers can directly attend their first Specialty Course Programs. By doing so they are able to collect valuable diving experience. Furthermore they gain more comfort before they go to the open water
  • Divers who are not ready for the Open Water Diver can extend their training period under ideal conditions. Due to the dimension of the pool they will nearly experience the real dive feeling and conditions
  • People who enjoy the feeling of diving and being weightless but who do not want to go in the open water at all can enjoy themselves and get the opportunity to live their diving dreams
  • An upgrade to SSI Open Water Diver is possible at any time and even on the next holiday. The update can be conducted in a flexible way so the divers will not feel that they have to do the same thing twice. All open water exercises can be redone throughout all four open water dives or they can be compressed in one dive so the divers have the chance to enjoy the other three ones
Students can continue their education straight after their Indoor Diver certification by enrolling Specialty Course programs in areas like Digital Underwater Photography, Perfect Buoyancy, Equipment Techniques and Shark Diving.
 
The possibilities are limitless and the participants do nothing twice as they can upgrade their status to Open Water Diver any time in one of the more than 2.500 SSI Dive Centers and Dive Resorts around the world. Once the upgrade is done the “Indoor Specialties” are credited towards all other Continuing Education Ratings like Specialty Diver, Advanced Open Water or Master Diver.
 
Think of that… Indoor Divers may be even „Better Divers“ in the beginning! Participants had the chance to practice their diving skills for a longer period of time under controlled circumstances. This creates more comfort and safety. These divers might even have attended a few Specialty Course programs already what gives them an advantage in knowledge compared to a “normal” Open Water Diver. They can apply this knowledge straight on their first Open Water dives.
