Prescott Dive Park

Denna dyk- och picknickplats i Rothesay, som i Augusta kallas för "världens bästa sötvattensdykning", är ett utmärkt område för daganvändning med enkel tillgång till fantastisk sötvattensdykning. Vattnets klarhet är utmärkt och det finns ingen termoklin.

The Wee Hawk wreck is very deceiving and should be viewed from the exterior; it is located in very shallow and calm water. Penetration should not be attempted without proper training.

Multiple entry points. There is a wall drop-off where you can enter, but the site can also be accessed from an easy gradual shore entry point (near the wreck of Wee Hawk). This is a shallow drift dive that can end up at the Conestoga Wreck.

A popular dive site for all levels of divers, you can see the underwater sculpture placed here with six standing human figures looking up, surrounded at an 18-foot radius by benches at each cardinal point. Two sturgeons point north at 35 feet out, a tribute to a species that was once plentiful in the river.

It is best to dive the wreck of Robert Gaskin from a dive boat. The dive can be done from shore but requires a long swim and a diver that has a very low SAC. Detta är ett båtdyk. Ta med en lampa för att se under vraket. Förbered dig på starka strömmar (2-3 knop). Penetration är möjlig men rekommenderas inte för nybörjardykare. A great site to dive the historic Locks of the St. Lawrence River. This site is accessible from the Canadian side of the river. A nice dive for beginners as there is no current and the depth is shallow.

This is a boat dive. The America wreck is located across the shipping channel from Jordstat Castle and Dark Island on the St. Lawrence River, New York side. Canadian boats going to this wreck must check-in with US customs first. The current can be strong so this dive is recommended only for advanced divers.
