Siyoul Lagoon

Den här platsen är "lillebror" till Siyoul Kebir och ligger nästan två timmar från Elgouna i norr. Det är ett trevligt och enkelt dyk som passar alla dykare, från 2-3 m djup till 14-15 m djup. Det finns möjlighet till ett drivdyk och att träffa några delfiner och örnrocka.

2 hours in the north direction are the Siyoul Islands with different and nice dive sites. El Gilwa is on the westside of the Siyoul Kebir Island and has a lot of nice coral blocks covered in soft corals. Sometimes there can be a strong current here.

Siyoul Kebir, also known as Ras Siyoul, is on the Siyoul Island, about 1 hour and 45 minutes to the north of Elgouna. This dive site its suitable for all levels with nice coral reefs and 2 nice big blocks of corals under the mooring line full of anthias fish. Sometimes there is a current which can be used for drift dives.

Shabrur siyoul, eller blindrevet som det brukar kallas, är ett rev där korallerna knappt är under vatten. Detta är ett längre dyk eftersom det är nästan en 2 timmars resa från Elgouna i norr. Den södra platån är mer populär att dyka på med vackra mjukkoraller på 20 meter. Den norra väggen är utmärkt för driftdykning.

Detta vrak ligger mellan Giannis D och Chrisoula K. Det ligger på 22-27 meters djup. Det är inte ett stort vrak jämfört med de andra, men ändå mycket intressant för dykare på grund av dess berömda exponerade revben och glasfisken inuti.

The most breathtaking wreck in the Abu Nuhas area. Very popular with UW photographers. The bow is in only 10m of water. The stern’s max depth is 25m. The stern is laid on its left side, which can throw divers off a bit when they dive through. The engine room is a spectacular sight, full of glassfish, and the mast and anchor winch are full of soft coral.

One of the four famous wrecks located on the Abu Nuhas reef. It’s about 2 hours and 40 minutes to the north of Elgouna. The bow sits at 4m deep and the stern about 27m. This wreck carries a lot of tiles. The body of the wreck is still in good condition. Exploring the captain’s cabin and the engine room are exciting for the adventurous diver.

Detta är det fjärde vraket i Abu Nuhas-området. Vraket är inte lika stort som de andra. Det ligger mycket nära Chrisoula K-vraket, vilket ger dykare möjlighet att uppleva båda vraken tillsammans som ett drivdyk, om de har tillräckligt med luft. Vraket ligger på mellan 5 och 27 meters djup.

About 2 hours and 15 minutes away from Elgouna to the north, this site his home to a nice coral garden, sloping down to a wonderful coral drop off. This is an easy dive for all levels of divers. There is a current that comes from the north direction sometimes, making it a drift dive at times.

Ungefär 2,5 timmar norrut ligger det berömda systerskeppet Thistlegorm. Den högsta punkten på vraket ligger på 35 meter och den djupaste på 50 meter. Ofta finns det en stark ström och sikten kan vara begränsad.
