Guraidhoo Outside

Denna plats är en av de intressanta attraktionerna under nordostmonsunen och erbjuder en stor variation av stora fiskar. Hela kanalen är ett skyddat marint område. Var väl förberedd på flera nedströmsgående tvättmaskinsströmmar när du driver till den inre kanalen.

Lokalt betyder Mendhu Ingili "långfinger". Denna dykplats är en gömd skatt med ett vackert rev långt från det livliga och berömda Guraidhoohörnet. Mångfalden är rik här på grund av flödet av näringsrika havsströmmar.

Middle point “MEDHU FARU“ offers different varieties of fish life. At 30m overhangs are covered with sea fans and between 8-20m. Drifting to the inside will take you along rich coral formations. The best diving can be archived during a north east current.

Kuda Kandu means small channel and is situated north of Guraidhoo channel, which has a very shallow sandy bottom at 12 meters deep and 10 meters wide. It is deep inside the atoll with colonies of stony corals which give good hide away spots to blue stripe yellow snappers.

Lhosfushi corner kan dykas med stark eller medelhög ström inåt eller utåt från atollen, eller utan någon ström alls. Det är därför en lämplig dykplats för alla nivåer, med både bra hårda och mjuka koraller och ett mycket tätt fiskliv.

Vackert dyk på ett yttre rev. Många stora och små korallblock på 5-15 meters djup med en mjuk nedgång ner till 30 meter. Bäst att dyka i en öst-västlig ström.

This dive site is well known as a Manta Ray Cleaning and feeding zone from late March to begining of November and some times into mid-December. This is one of the best places to dive with these giant rays within this part of the Atoll.

This dive site is named Napoleon Reef for good reason. This site is covered in large Napolean wrasses. This is a good drift dive for all levels of diver. Many times divers have also encountered whale sharks and mobula rays here as well.

This dive site is in the channel of Lohifushi, with a sandy bottom between 15 - 25 meters. You can dive both sides of the 50-meter large sand channel. In the sand, you can find many coral blocks.

With a slow incoming current Kandoo Kan is a great site of beginner divers to observe plenty of big fish life close to the reef. This is one of the best dive sites to encounter huge green sea turtles.
