Maria Loretto, Wörthersee

The dive site offers a nice garden-like area for buoyancy practice. There are two platforms, some fixtures, a sunken car, and some vegetation.

Efter den något utmanande ingången (3 meters lutning in i sjön) dyker du längs den branta väggens högra sida. Både i det grunda området upp till 10 meter och under termoklinen i intervallet 15-30 meter erbjuder dykplatsen imponerande väggar. Ibland kan du hitta mäktiga träd på sjöns botten.

Directly from the entrance you can dive either left shoulder or right shoulder directly into the depth. The shallow shore area offers a great diving experience for beginners with many sunken trees and rocks. Below the thermocline (from about 15-20m) you will find great rock formations and steep walls.

Lätt och grund dykplats på norra stranden av Wörthersee. Den enkla ingången, den grunda sluttande botten och den vackra vegetationen och några fiskar i det grunda vattenområdet gör den här platsen idealisk för nybörjare.

The large shoal off Maria Wörth lies in the middle of Lake Wörthersee between Pörtschach and Maria Wörth. The dive site can only be reached by boat. The dive site offers great steep walls on several sides and in the shallow water area a fascinating vegetation with lots of life.

At this dive site, you will find a nice steep wall. Due to the depth, this dive site is only suitable for experienced divers. The entrance is via a parking lot and a small slope that leads into the lake.

En dykplats som är tillgänglig från stranden, lämplig för nybörjare i det grunda vattenområdet, med branta väggar, vegetation och fantastiska klippformationer. För avancerade dykare kan termoklinen korsas här och det finns rester från krigstid (rör inget).

Training pool for exercise lessons. Size 8x13 and 2,2m deep. Ideal for all pool units of beginner programs and for training sessions for further education. The water temperature is about 30 degrees Celsius.

Half an hour south of Klagenfurt at the Wörthersee is this reservoir for the production of electricity. Dammed up in 1957, 7 buildings were also put underwater. Several prominent building’s remains can be dived here at shallow depths.

At the Längssee there is a great beginner diving area. The entry at the footbridge of the public beach is easy and you can discover a lot along the shoreline in depths up to 7/8m.
