Tauchbasis Löbejün

The entrance to this site is easy to reach via the beach. The registration and entrance for diving are only possible via the diving center. You can park on their premises. They have changing tables, sinks, toilets, stands, and a cloakroom.

The dive site is for advanced or professional divers. The dive site is reached by boat. An open water descent is necessary. The visibility is usually very good here with 20 meters not uncommon.

The maximum depth in the southern basin is 26 meters. The Kulki, as divers affectionately call the lake, owes its formation to the mining of lignite. The Kulki is one of the oldest opencast mining lakes in the Leipzig area and by far the most attractive. There are 2 practice platforms available for dive training.

Stenbrottssjön består av tre tidigare stenbrott (Quarry Lake, Blue Lake och Deep Lake) som nu är sammanlänkade genom den höjda vattennivån.

Ebendorfs stenbrott ligger direkt vid infarten till Ebendorf från B189. Fram till 1914 var det ett dagbrott. Idag är stenbrottet vid Barleber Chaussee 110 m långt, 80 m brett och vattnet 22 m djupt. Infarten är ganska lätt. Det finns en trappa och en gångbro.
