Rasdhoo Channel

Den ligger söder om Kuramathi, två minuters bilresa från anläggningens ankomst- och utflyktsbrygga, och dykare är ofta vid Fan-revet, som är ett lätt väggdyk och perfekt för nybörjare och öppna vattendykare. De flesta av de bra sakerna kan ses på grunda djup. Men det är också av vad de kan se så nära stranden.

Rasdhoo är en intressant plats med ön Rasdhoos vägg på ena sidan och massiva korallblock (eller thilas) monterade på atollens branta fallhöjd på utsidan. Dessa två egenskaper skapar en korridor av sand mellan det inre revet och de yttre thilas. På vissa ställen är korridoren endast 20 meter bred.

Ory Faru är en fantastisk dykplats som ligger precis framför ön Kuramathi. Detta är ett lätt väggdyk och passar perfekt för alla dykare. Revet börjar på cirka 4 meters djup och sjunker ner under 40 meters djup.

Denna 40 meter långa förrådsbåt sänktes 1987. Platsen ligger på ett maximalt djup av 20 meter och är perfekt för alla dyknivåer och tack vare sitt skyddade läge är den en utmärkt plats för nattdyk.

Rasdhoo Madivaru is a channel located at the intersection of the local islands of Rasdhoo and Madivaru. Dive along the edge of parallel or perpendicular reef formations across the channel and explore the sandy areas.

Three Palms offers a quiet dive along a wall with 3 beautiful formations of table corals which gives this spot its name. On the top of the house reef you can see blacktip reef sharks, in the channel eagle rays, and sometimes reef mantas. On the wall are also lionfish, lobsters, and a lot of small fish!

This dive site starts as a wall dive and leads into the channel, here you can enter the channel to enjoy a deeper dive or stay on the drop off point of the channel where you can enjoy all the fish life in the current.

Hammerhead Shark Point ligger framför Madivaru, men hajarna kan ses så långt söderut som Kuramathi, österut och framför Rasdhoo, eller var som helst i det blåa vattnet eller till och med på revsidan. En viss tur är helt klart inblandad för att upptäcka dessa majestätiska varelser och det finns inte bara ett sätt att dyka till hajspetsen.

Boduga means big block in Dhivehi. This site derives its name from the large coral block that sits just 2 meters under the surface at the end of the island of Kuramathi near the sandbank.

These caves are located on the western end of the atoll past the Kuramathi Resort sandbank. There are many large overhangs here, but also two caves through which divers can swim (one at 18-20 meters, the other at 28-30 meters).
