Heraklion Diving beach dive

Dive site in front of Heraklion Diving Center. Easy enty from the shore, suitable for beginner divers and Try Scuba courses. Max depth that can be reached is 8-9 meters.

A lot of small fish can be seen during this dive. Also small octopus are often seen. Other not often encounters are the moray eel, groupers and a turtle.

Amphora Reef, Kreta

You can find pieces of various amphorae here. Amphora is an ancient container with a certain characteristic shape and size, from as least as early the Neolithic Period. Amphorae were used in vast numbers for the transport and storage of various products, both liquid and dry, but mostly for wine.

Posidonia Reef

Named after the seaweed Posidonia, we can find a lot it around this area. There are rock formations that indicates some ancient human activity. An easy dive for all levels.

Messerschmitt Me 109 (Wreck)

Stony and sandy bottom, ideal for the first dives after the pool lessons, as well as the first introductory dives in the sea. Various tunnels and swim-throughs provide a wonderful diving experience even for experienced divers. A great place for night dives too.

Kali Limenes

That an depth of 11 meters there is a boat shaft covering an area of one acre.
