Finishing off Moon Hole toward the west brings us to Ron’s Wreck. Once an old shrimp fishing boat, it is now sitting below the sea at about 60ft (18.28m).
Moon Hole is a large sandy patch surrounded by coral. This is an excellent site for Buoyancy or Open Water training dives. From Moon Hole, you can cross the coral to Ron’s Wreck.
The Airport Caves dive site is located about 10 to 15 minutes from the main dock on Utila. It is located on the east side of the Island in front of what used to the old airstrip.
