The Sea of Cortez, also known as the Gulf of California, is a warm, sub-tropical strip of water that sits between Baja California and the mainland of Mexico.
Wildlife encounters include semi-tropical pacific species like octopuses, lobsters, eagle rays, mantas, eels, parrotfish, angelfish, tuna, sea lions, and possible hammerheads.
