Kumomi
This is the most popular cave diving spot in Izu. There are many caves and coverings between and around two large rocks called Ushitsukiwa in front of the harbor.
The holes are home to many dark-loving creatures such as dandelions, lobsters and red clams. The soft coral is surrounded by many species of snapper and butterflyfish. If you go to the offshore point, you can see large schools of Japanese sardines and groupers, as well as large groupers called kuei.
