Atlantic Quarry - Rock Wall

Turkey Ridge is a rock bottom quarry near Janesville, Iowa. It is owned by the county and you must have permission (acquired by signing a waiver and donating to the upkeep of the quarry) to use this site. There is also a training platform, tube swim-through, sunken statue, and a few other points of interest.

War Axe State Recreation Area. Depth is max 25 feet and is great for beginners, but yet enjoyed by experienced divers as well. Attractions include a statue, sunken boats, platforms. Aquatic life include bass, bluegill, crappie, catfish, walleye and turtles.

Sandy Channel is a Nebraska State Recreation Area. Water Depth is max 25 feet and is great for beginners, but yet enjoyed by experienced divers as well. This area is a popular flyflishing destination, but also makes for an interesting dive a few months of the year. Bennett Springs in south central Missouri is the water source for trout-stocked streams that attract fishermen most of the year. Average conditions produce gin-clear water.

The 25-yard heated pool ranging in depth from 3.5 to 14 feet is a great place to learn new skills or to refresh on old ones. Indoor pool and surrounding air temperature steady 88-90, so leave your drysuit at home!

Pear Lake is located at 1220 Dearborn Ave Hwy 251 South Beloit, IL 61080. The quarry is a great place to do training dives and brush up on your scuba skills. The quarry is only available to Dive Shops and their divers so you’ll have to go there with a dive shop.

Just South of Springfield Mo, this entry point into Table Rock lake is a common attraction for the beginning diver. This site is an easy shore dive that features a small island a small swim off of shore.

Table Rock Lake is full of interesting dive sites and above average water conditions. Lake visibility is very good by lake standards throughout the summer. Water temps peak at 85°F/29°C on the surface and average about 60°F/15°C at depths below 30ft/9m.

Scuba Park at Beaver Lake is a great place for all divers with easy shore entry. The Scuba park has a line leading to cars, plane houseboat, platform and other unquice attractions. This location also offers a wall dive. Popular site for Open Water Dives, Advanced Courses and more.
