Teti (Wreck)

The Teti is a 72-meters long steamship that lays on a sandy bottom where it sunk in 1930. It is famous for its picturesque spare steering wheel, close to which moray eels and conger live.

One and only place on Vis island where fishing is banned. High chance to see conger eels close to the deepest part of the wreck.

Vassilios T., wreck

In March 1939, loaded with coal and bound for Venice, this ship’s rudder malfunctioned and the Vassilios subsequently sank. This 105m giant now rests on the sandy seabed on her port side; her hull, once full of coal, now gapes empty. This wreck lies from 20 to 55 meters deep.

Hellenistic Port

Hellenistic Port consists of the remains of an ancient harbour in front of the Issa Hotel. The sloping area is covered with yellow sponges. The entrance to the water is made from a concrete quay in a place where the water depth does not exceed 1.5 m.

Voliči

In front of the entrance to the Vis Bay there are several small islets. Among these there are Volići, which consist of two isles that surface to one meter, Volić Veli and Volić Mali. On Volić Veli, located further from the island of Vis Isle, there is a lighthouse.
