Medfish Confined Water

This is a beach entry spot with very easy access to almost 20m. Just 50m out from the sandy beach it is easy to catch have a calm and peaceful dive along the sandy bottom. Visibility is usually 15-20m with no current.

Covered from wind and swell this site is ideal to practice skills up to 30m depth. For advanced freedivers this spot gives the chance to practice FRC dives even in the rough conditions.

Just 5min out with the boat you can dive to 42m. Clean waters and lack of current makes it ideal for deep training. Visibility is usually 25-30m with no current. There is a thermocline from March to July at 15m, but from August to October there is none.

A 15-minute drive by boat from Gundogan Bay. This is a super deep freediving spot. Visibility is usually 35m+ with no current.

When we want some silence and privacy in our training sessions, we pick this site. It is an 18m pool with a depth starting from 1.3m and ending up in 1.5m. It helps us set 3 lines and it is ideal to train some dynamic tables and static sessions.

This is the deepest freediving spot of Medfish on the Northern Bodrum peninsula. It takes around 20 minutes by boat and needs careful planning to catch a nice and calm day. Usually early in the mornings is best for diving. Visibility: 35m Current: None Swell: Medium

Bodrum is a port city of the Mugla in the southwestern Aegean region of Turkey. It is located on the southern coast of the Bodrum Peninsula, at a point that checks the entry into the Gulf of Gökova. It is a fascinating place, with its pleasant contrast between ancient culture and the usual tourist paraphernalia.

Small Reef lays 200 meters from the Big Reef towards Bodrum. Lots of fish are here waiting to be seen. The depth starts at 5m (15 ft) to 26m (78ft). This site is 15 min. from the harbor by dive boat.

The most beautiful and fascinating dive site in Bodrum. Big Reef has all the diving opportunities in it. The depth starts at 7m (25 ft). Divers can use the anchor chain for an easy descent to the top of the reef. lt has a wall that faces Black Island and drops straight down from 7 meters to 34 meters.

An ideal point for both advanced divers, open water divers, and beginners. It is 15 minutes journey to reach there by boat. Rock formations start from 3 meters and gradually go down to 35-40 meters. At this site you may expect to see scorpeon fish, groupers, a car wreck! and lots of broken amphora.
