Vadhoo Thila

BBT is a dive site that you can dive every day and each time you“ii find different conditions and creatures. The reef top starts at 5m, at 8 / 9m it drops down to 30m. There are some small overhangs in the western part of the Thila which are partly overgrown with soft corals.

Because of its current, BKT is reserved for experienced divers or is dived in times of low current. Not far from BBT, the rock rises to a depth of 16m. The south side has a nice plateau at 25m and then drops off steeply to 40m. Cleaning station for gray reef sharks!

Regardless of whether Thila or the nearby main reef BDT is the best Marco place, which does not mean that there are no big fish;) However, there are occasional “funny currents“ which are no problem with a guide who knows his way around! Small Thila directly on the island of Villingilli on the offshore plateau in the direction of the channel between Raa and Baa Atoll. This is a small thila 80m long and 70m wide in the middle of a channel which promises a lot of currents. Due to the current, this dive site should be dived by experienced divers only, or those who are willing to learn! Smart diving in the current’s shade required or the right place to be shown by an experienced instructor.

Este site é excelente para mergulhos noturnos e, às vezes, para mergulhos de Especialidades Atuais. O recife desce de 3-4m a 30m. Há alguns belos blocos de corais cheios de peixe-palhaço e, à noite, você encontrará com freqüência muitas lagostas e camarões. Nota: nem sempre é possível mergulhar aqui. A corrente pode ser extrema!!

A small reef with many different types of colorful coral. The reef roof is at a height of 6m and has a diameter of approx. 20m, at a depth of 25m it should be approx. 50m. On the west side an overhang with soft corals, further deeper a gap with giant moray eels and cleaner shrimp.

Drift dive with the current flowing from the western tip of Kinohlas along the north side towards the small Thila. Lots of fish on the top of the reef, some really nice little overhangs deeper. Experienced divers dive to the thila, beginners stay over the overhangs and slowly ascend the Sandy Slope

A simple, mostly calm dive site.Very suitable for the first boat dive since the beginning lighter sandy bottom.Big blocs with schooling fish of different species are here encountered. The reef falls on very slowly from 2m down to about 11m and then aplateau run out at a depth of 20-24m.
