This is a fun dive site as it is considered the house for the turtles. It also has a pinnacle covered in soft sponges.

Shane’s is one of the most special reefs to locals in this area. It always surprises with weird, rare marine life. This is a must dive for photographers and macro lovers! Depth ranges between 6 to 25 meters.

Levenbank

Levenbank is a deep dive and is best for advanced divers. It is in the middle of the Indian ocean with a maximum depth of 35 m. You will dive from the deep area to the shallow area where a pinnacle can be found covered in hard and soft/sponge coral.

Kichafi

Depth at this site is between 12m and 18m. There are big rolling stretches of plate corals with small schools of fish, such as yellow snapper, darting in and out, and interesting creatures within. Healthy patches of soft corals make up the center of this dive site.

Misoli Reef averages from 12 to 40 meters deep. It has a large coral island located in a big area of white sand, typical to Zanzibar. Mwana Wa Mwana is a favorite local dive site. Depth ranges from 2m to 15m. The name of this site means baby of the baby in Swahili. Mwana wa Mwana is a small island north of Tumbatu; in low tide, the two islands are connected by a sandbank.

Depth at this site is between 6m and 16m. Another patch reef, this is a more concentrated area than Hunga. It generally has excellent visibility and is a pleasure to dive while exploring the reefs of Zanzibar.
