O Parque Oceanic Izu é o local de mergulho mais popular em Higashi-Izu. As instalações são boas e há uma piscina. No verão, a área está repleta de banhistas e pessoas comuns que usam a piscina.

É a única ilha remota habitada na Província de Shizuoka, a cerca de 10 km da costa de Atami, que pode ser alcançada em 30 minutos por balsa. Depois de atravessar a ilha, pode-se fazer mergulho na praia ou de barco.

Este é um local histórico de mergulho que representa Higashi-Izu. Pode ser acessado da área de Tóquio em cerca de 2 horas, e também é possível fazer uma viagem de um dia, tornando-o um local popular, especialmente entre os mergulhadores de Kanto.

This is the largest and closest of the seven Izu Islands to the mainland. Mihara, an active volcano, is located in the center of the island. Boat diving is also available, but due to the variety of beach points, diving from the beach is more popular. The most popular of these is Autumn Beach.

Located on the west side of the Manazuru Peninsula, it is a popular point that is quite close to the Kanto area. Beach entry and boat entry are available. The beach is home to a colony of coral anemones that have been designated as a natural monument and are surrounded by many colorful creatures, including clownfish.

Located in Koganezaki Park, you can enjoy various flowers depending on the season, and entry/exit is very easy to do due to the ramps and handrails. When you enter, you’ll see a wide range of gorotas up to a few meters deep, and beyond that, you’ll see an entire surface of the sand.

Osezaki é um dos locais de mergulho mais famosos do Japão. É um cabo que se projeta para a baía de Suruga e é feito como um mergulho na praia. Há duas opções de mergulho, uma na baía do cabo e a outra na praia, ambas são áreas rochosas rasas quando se desce e áreas arenosas quando se vai para o mar.

There are six boat points in the open sea and four in the bay at Tago. There is also one beach. At the point in the bay, there is a clump of Green Turtle Coral that looks like Okinawa, and much tropical small fish can be seen around it.

Futou is the scenic point of Nishi-Izu. This site can be reach via beach entry or boat entry. There is a small area where you can go night diving all year round. There are caves, caverns, and arches as you progress through the shallow beach sand to the rocky terrain.

Ishibashi is very close to the center of the city, so you can dive on a day trip and do more than 3 dives in one day. This site is a beach entry only. The entry is via a slope, and a rocky area opens up as you descend. After swimming about 100 meters offshore, you will come to a wide sandy beach.
